Make Lorien House and Fort Augustus your base for a few nights stay to discover what delights the surrounding area has to offer.  With a warm welcome and homely atmosphere and hearty full Scottish breakfast freshly cooked to order you won't  be forgeting your stay in Fort Augustus in a hurry.

After your long drive, walk or bike ride out to Fort Augustus, sit and chill out in the large homely lounge and plan your next days activities or just enjoy the view.  You may prefer to just settle into your room and take advantage of the range of coffe/tea making facilities in your room.

Why not round off your evening with a drink in one of the many bars, or take a gentle stroll down to Loch Ness and enjoy the sunset, you never know your luck, you might even catch a glimpse of Nessie.

 

SAMPLE BREAKFAST MENU

For starters there is a range of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghrts and juices, fresh coffee, tea, hot chocolate or cappuccino and toast

A full freshly cooked scottish breakfast consists of bacon, sausage, tomato, egg, haggis, black pudding and fried bread 

A very popular alternatvie is Scottish smoked salmon with scrambled egg.

Also choose from poached or boiled eggs, tomatoes or beans on toast or freshly made Scottish porridge.

Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 8:45am.  For earlier risers, we are happy to leave out a continental breakfast (notice required by 9pm night before)

PACKED LUNCHES

Packed lunches are available (prior notice required), which typically consist of sandwich (eg, egg, tuna, cheese), crisps, fruit, chocolate and a soft drink.

PARKING

 Off road parking is available, however is limited and allocated on a first come first served basis. On street parking is available outside Lorien House and is free.

BIKE STORAGE

Bikes can be safely stored and locked in the shed to the rear of the property
